Vibratory pile driving is based on the principle of reducing the cohesion of soils through vibration, effectively fluidizing the soil. When the soil is in this condition, installing the piling requires only little force. The dead weight of the piling and the applied force are enough to drive the piling to the required depth quickly, quietly and efficiently.
The same applies when extracting the piling. The required pulling force is minimized due to the reduced friction. The link between the piling and the vibrator are the clamping devices, which form a firm connection between the two and releases it again after driving.
